About Goodness Superfoods

Based in Dandenong, Victoria Goodness Superfoods is an Australian owned brand producing high quality breakfast cereals and health food products that taste great and are good for you.

Our aim is to offer Australians a healthy, wholesome breakfast choice for a positive start to the day.  At Goodness Superfoods we believe the best way to kick-start your day is with a tasty breakfast that’s packed with natural goodness and energy to keep you going through your busy morning.

Goodness Superfoods cereals and health food products are made from the best natural ingredients are highly nutritious, delicious and healthy.  In fact our entire cereal range contains the super wholegrain BARLEYmax.

Developed by CSIRO, BARLEYmax is a natural, non-genetically modified wholegrain that contains twice the dietary fibre of regular grains, has four times the amount of resistant starch and has a low GI.  We all know that a diet high in fibre is the best way to achieve a healthy digestive system for improved wellbeing.

At Goodness Superfoods we follow a simple nutritional philosophy that’s the basis for our cereals: improve your digestive system and you have the starting point for improved wellness. Because if your gut is not healthy then you’re not healthy, and that can lead to problems later on in life.  We believe Goodness Superfoods cereals contain superior nutritional value and that’s why we have teamed up with two very talented dietitians to support us in our quest to helping you to eat well and understand what good food is.

Joanna McMillan has been supporting Goodness Superfoods as a media spokesperson since the launch of our first products.

Dr Joanna McMillan is a Registered Nutritionist and Accredited Practising Dietitian with a PhD in nutritional science from the University of Sydney. Goodness Superfoods_Joanna McMillan

Her philosophy on diet is pretty simple – eat more fresh wholesome foods and fewer processed, packaged foods. In essence this means cooking more meals yourself from raw ingredients. But she tempers this with realistic advice on which modern food products and processing/preserving techniques can be useful in helping you achieve a healthy diet in today’s time-poor, results- orientated environment.

Joanna operates a nutrition consultancy in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and for more info please go to www.drjoanna.com.au or write her an email: jo@drjoanna.com.au
