Hi Bec,
Just want to say I’m absolutely addicted to the Barley Wraps! They’re now a staple of my lunchbox every day and I’m definitely feeling the benefits!
A quick question for you: One of the new products out now which you’ve probably seen is the Breakfast Biscuits. They’ve just launched in Australia and have been promoted as a replacement for sit-down breakfast. Would you and the team consider developing something similar? With the amazing benefits of Barleymax and your wholegrains, I think you could create an outstanding and highly nutritious version with less sugar than the current maker uses
Thanks for an excellent(and highly addictive)product
Hi Rachel – we are loving them too…lunch is fun again!
Your barley wraps are great except for the fact they are sweetened with fructose – apple juice concentrate. I am avoiding added fructose and your wraps have a decidedly sweet taste yet the quantity on your nutritional panel says <0.1g per 100g. Is it possible you could use an alternative to fructose as all the information now says that is the worst of the sugars and is metabolised differently by the body – it goes straight to fat and it sabotages the appetite control systems. You have such a great product in barleymax it seems a shame to not follow through with your healthy approach on the sugar front. I want to eat the barley wraps every day but don't want the added fructose.
Lover the wraps hoping you make a bread now
i did try your new wraps and was excited to see them come out, but i too found them excessively sweet and as i’m battling the demon sugar in my diet too, for the moment i’m just sticking with your fabulous barley/oats porridge on a daily basis…
